If you're looking for free grant money, then grants.gov is not the right site - at least not right at the beginning of your search.
Here's what the the site itself says: "Grants.gov does not provide personal financial assistance. To learn where you may find personal help, check... etc."
In fact, most governmental financial assistance sites DO NOT make it easy enough for you to:
- find the grant(s) best suited to you
- keep updated on the latest grants that you can easily win
- easily fill out grant applications
Sure, grants.gov does have lists of government grants, but sifting through them can be a nightmare. Also, they usually refer you to other government grant sites, where you have to do even more digging. There is a better way!
Use grant a grant software kit...
It is simply the easiest and most reliable way to automatically find grants that are most appropriate for you (and that you can easily qualify for and win). The software automatically takes into account what you plan to use the money for, and also the region and/or state you live in. The best part, for many people, is that it helps make the application process easy by automatically filling out most of the electronic forms for you! So compared to the average person going to grants.gov, you'll have a far better success rate.
In fact, it’s the only way that you can literally apply for several grants, as new ones become available. And of course, since government has been having a hard time getting people to apply, you may very well end up with a dozen or more grants of ranging in value from anywhere between $5,000 and $50,000! So rather than wasting endless hours on grants.gov right at the beginning, rather use a kit to find the best grants and then go there only when you're ready to submit.
MOST IMPORTANT: be proactive at start applying for your free grant money NOW, while everyone else is still unaware...
